Fruit Jokes

Lemonaid joke

It’s January, it’s Wednesday, and we’re all feeling fed up.  So, whilst you’re browsing for recipes or checking out my cookery courses, I thought I’d distract you with some jokes.  This week – fruit jokes.  Are you ready to be cheered up?!

My friend nearly drowned in her bowl of muesli the other day.  She was pulled in by a strong currant…

How do you make an apple turnover?  Push it down a hill.

Have you heard the one about the rhubarb who robbed a shop? He got taken into custardy

Why did the banana go out with a prune?  Because she couldn’t find a date.

What do you get if you cross a jogger with an apple pie?  Puff pastry

what’s red and invisible? No tomato

And finally…….

A guy walks into the doctor’s office, a banana stuck in one ear, a cucumber in the other ear, and a grape up one nostril. The man says, “Doc, I feel terrible. What’s wrong with me?”
The doctor says, “Well, first up, you need to eat more sensibly.”

Just to see if you were paying attention where’s the deliberate mistake?  Yep, rhubarb is a vegetable not a fruit as you eat the stalk of the plant – ta da.  And yes, tomatoes are fruit as they contain the seeds of the plant.

There.  Don’t you feel better now?!  If you think you can do any better go and write one on our Facebook wall 🙂

xx Beverley
