Now we’re in December I feel like I’m allowed to talk about Christmas. The kitchen Christmas tree is going up tomorrow as we’re making mince pies and homemade mincemeat tomorrow at cooking club and the children and teenagers are coming in Christmas jumpers, onesies or fancy dress for the last two weeks of cooking club this year.
To help get you into the spirit of Christmas there are some spaces on my Christmas workshops.
Friday 8 December is my classic, Edible Christmas Gifts workshop. I’ll help you make lebkuchen, biscotti, teach you how to temper chocolate and make chocolate truffles, then I’ll take you through a royal icing masterclass and teach you how to decorate gingerbread biscuits just like the ones Biscuiteers make, they’ll look fantastic on your Christmas Tree. £95 per person with lunch included.
Children’s workshops begin on 18 December with my gingerbread house workshop over two mornings to give you time to get some last minute shopping done, presents wrapped or just catch up with friends for a coffee. £95 per person from 10am-12 noon both Monday 18 December and Tuesday 19 December, limited places available for ages 5-12 years.
Finally on Thursday 21 December I have a few spaces left for my Gingerbread Goodies workshop at Berkhamsted Basecamp. This is a full day workshop for ages 7-12 at £70 from 9.30am-4.30pm.
If you’re looking for a lovely Christmas present then I have gift vouchers available for all my workshops as well as for a one-to-one class focussing on whatever type of cooking they’d like to do including AGA speciality cookery. If you’re looking for a gift for a child too far away to travel then there is my Cookery Programme. An initial package of a cookery folder with recipes and other goodies then every month I send out recipes with speciality recipes sent out quarterly too. A great present to encourage children to cook.
