HUGE announcement, I’m launching The Buckinghamshire Bake-Off on Saturday 22 March to raise funds for Sport Relief. Fabulous prizes, celebrity judges and cake, loads of cake.
So come on great bakers of Buckinghamshire, get baking. The full details are on the website, click the link above, there are 4 categories and 4 age groups per categories as I want to encourage as many children as possible to enter. Plus there is a category specifically for the chaps, ‘Blokes Biscuits’ so come on children, nag your Dad, Grandad, brother, uncle, cousin, whoever to enter.
The inaugural Buckinghamshire Bake-Off will take place at The Potting Shed, Askett Nurseries, just outside Princes Risborough, starting at 3.30pm, judging from 4.30pm and prize giving from 5.45pm.
We have a whole host of celebrity judges from Paul Davies, ITN News Reporter, Me, Tracey Mann, cake decorator to the stars who runs Tracey’s Cakes, Debbie Norie ex of Little Venice Cake Co who has cooked on TV with Ant and Dec, Hero from Muddy Stilettos, Gemma from MyFamilyClub and more to be revealed soon.
We have the wonderful Mike Bushell, BBC Sports Presenter to present the prizes too so it’s all very exciting, we just need the cakes and biscuits. Do you need more of an incentive? OK here goes…
